Mariam Ahmed is a Senior Associate at Yassien & Partners.

She is a qualified lawyer with over 3-year PQE of extensive legal experience.

Mariam acquired comprehensive understanding Alternative Dispute Resolution with emphasize on Arbitration procedures before CRCICA as well the rules of Hague Convention on Recognition & Enforcement of Foreign Judgments in Civil or Commercial Matters.

ACHIEVEMENTS / EXPERIENCE

• Mariam regularly advises clients on Civil, IP, Arbitration & ADR, Labor, Criminal and Commercial matters across different sectors and has represented clients in various domestic and cross-border Transactions/Disputes.
• Represented and advised The Modern Arab Company on Corporate Governance conflicts related to minority protection issues including the annulment of corporate BOD and EGM resolutions.
• Represented and advised on producing NBE Club on players & professional contracts.
• Acted on behalf of and advised Libyan Company for Import and Export on several Franchise, Agency and Trademark matters including winning associated commercial litigation.
• Represented and advised IDH Company on Capital Market listing connected matters including regulatory requirements of disclosure.  
•  Mariam frequently advises on a broad range of Disputes Resolution, Compensation, Damages liquidation, corporate Restructuring and Reorganization.
• Advised AQP Company on the settlement of its arbitral disputes Vs. EMAS- AMC in connection the implementation of an EPC Contract with a value around USD 30 million.
